The urge to explore a the landscape is something that has always driven my image making, be it in a natural or urban setting. In 2015 I was introduced to the world of caving which opened up an entirely new landscape to me. The restrictions on entering most caves and getting on cave trips that allow for enough time to photograph can be challenging. The experience though, feels like a mix of architectural and astral photography that allow for something new to form.
